Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating the operations of one or more departments in Electrical, Mechanical or Plumbing.
- Responsible for leading skilled technical staff in executing maintenance projects with an expert knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, and Waste Water Systems.
- Duties include formulating policies and procedures, supervising nightly operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources.
- Provide training, mentoring, performance improvement and career development to personnel on shift
- Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives
- Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules, resolve technical problems, and acts as incident commander during facility excursions; Manage on-shift escalations
- Identifies complex problems and reviews related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Verify completion of task execution (PM, SOP, PTP, etc.)
- Communicates detailed plans for work assignments and is the first point of contact for issues that arise on the shift
- Reviews activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement
- Maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and installs electrical, mechanical equipment and systems at the OCS facility utilizing technical, interpersonal and critical thinking skills. Working as a team with the entire Facilities Operations/Maintenance department, performing general maintenance duties, preventive maintenance, trouble calls, and emergency maintenance as needed and assigned
- Maintaining and troubleshooting various types of pumps, chillers and piping systems
- Perform plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC and Inspect on building systems
- Work on projects throughout the entire facility running conduit, pulling wire and connecting devices, using lifts and ladders
- Continues to perform equipment repairs and similar duties that require no oversight or direction
- Uses complex electrical schematics and blueprints to troubleshoot and correct problems
- Consulting manuals, reading and interpreting circuit diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
- Repairing and adjusting system components or removing and replacing defective parts
- Displays positive attitudes and practices good work ethics that reflects the mission, philosophy, and goals of the company
- Provides excellent customer service
- Complete tasks in a timely manner and provide feedback
Requirements
- BS degree in technical field or equivalent in work experience.
- 6+ years of related trade experience supporting semiconductor or battery manufacturing facilities
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) per site protocol
- Ability to sit, stand and/or walk for 10+ hours per day
- Sits at computer terminal, uses computer for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift at least 10-20 lbs.
- Capable of obtaining OSHA 30 within 3 months of hire.
- Work in heavy equipment rooms, chemical storage, and distribution locations, and industrial waste plants
- Able to discern audible alarms
- Potential to work with materials which contain hazardous chemicals
- Support and/or work shift duties in a 24×7 manufacturing environment
- High tolerance for change
- Strong teamwork and communication skill
- Must have a minimum of 5+ years related work experience as an Industrial or Manufacturing Technician
- Knowledge of using hand tools, electrical meter, and testing equipment
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and P&ID drawings
- Experienced in handling low to high voltage up to 480 VAC
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Strong knowledge in troubleshooting of motor controls, drives, and electronic components
- Ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics
- Ability to work in high elevation up to 80 ft.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, along with the ability to interact with all levels of management; must have high degree of initiative, and the ability to work alone and effectively with other people
